2025/26 WINTER Development academy

The Walnut Creek Surf Soccer Club Winter Development Academy is a program that spans 8 weeks and focuses on individual player development.  Sessions are led by our Walnut Creek Surf Professional Coaching Staff and will include skill development & small-sided games in a positive, active learning environment.  The Winter Development Academy is for players in Kindergarten thru 8th Grade and will be grouped by grade & age, per 1 hour time slot.  

Our Winter Development Academy Program sessions will be on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings/early afternoons. Due to historical success & popularity of our camps and academy programs, we will have a maximum of 80 players per time slot.  Register soon as we expect to sell out fast!

2025/26 Registration Fee

Winter Academy is $359.00 which includes 12 training sessions with Walnut Creek Surf Club Soccer Club Professional Training Staff and Youth Coaches.  

Registration fee is non-refundable, and we do not issue partial refunds or credits for missed sessions. Sessions run RAIN or SHINE. WDA is open to 2025 WCSC Recreation or Select players, or players not currently registered for Recreation with another NorCal club (players registered with another NorCal club are NOT eligible).

• 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Kindergarten, 1st, & 2nd Graders WAITLIST
• 5:15pm - 6:15pm: 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders 
• 6:30pm - 7:30pm: 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders

Winter Development Academy & Winter Select Policy

• Players registered for the Winter Development Academy (WDA) who are also selected for a Winter Select team must notify the club by December 10 if they do not wish to continue in WDA.  A full WDA refund will then be issued.
• Families who choose to participate in both programs should note that the club will not make schedule changes or take responsibility for conflicts between Winter Select training and WDA sessions.

• By registering for both, parents acknowledge and agree that no refunds (partial or full) will be provided if their child participates in both programs.
