Coaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is to develop complete individual players and teams that can alternate between attacking with creativity and skill and defending with toughness and intelligence.
Mentally, I want to ingrain in my players individual tactics as well as combination tactics, so that they will be able to autonomously and instinctively answer the questions “What should I do next?”, “What will my teammate do next?”, and “What will my opponent do next?”
Physically, I aim to develop in my players the physical fitness and technical soccer skills that will allow them to be able to consistently and successfully execute exactly what they wanted their body and the ball to do.
Lastly, and probably most importantly, I hope my players enjoy the game soccer and that playing soccer at WCSC builds positive self-esteem, teamwork, and good sportsmanship on and off the field for each and every one of my players.
