Coaching Philosophy:

My main philosophy is that I want to players to over-achieve. I want them to be able to train and play outside of their comfort zone and do more with the ball at their feet and as a team than they ever dreamed possible.  To accomplish this, it is so important to develop the 'whole player' as well as the person.  In developing the whole player we not only need to teach them skills with the ball (individual technical ability) but also what to do with and without the ball (individual tactics).  I expect players to come prepared to training and games with proper nutrition and sleeping habits, with a level of fitness to outwork their opponent, and with a commitment to be the best player for thier team that they can possibly be.   The game of soccer is a balance between structure and free play and my job as coach is to help the individual player and team as a whole strike the right balance to achieve success.  Each player needs to be able to create individually, understand the roles and responsibilities of their position, play composed soccer with pressure, be mentally and physically prepared, and win the individual match ups on the field.  As it is said: "Success comes before Work only in the dictionary."  If we out work, out think and out play our opponent, we give ourselves a chance to win the game. I want my teams to be prepared, and have that chance in every game.
