This is a 7 week development academy where players will learn and enhance proper fundamentals of soccer. The Academy will provide a fun environment to develop individual ball skills (dribbling, passing, shooting) in the context of a team enviroment.
Ages: Open to boys and girls U7-U8 (U8 group) , U9-U10 (U10 group), and U11-U12 (U12 group)!
Times/Location: All trainings will average 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. In addition to the weekly trainings, the players in the academy will be able to apply their improved skills during Academy game. Specific day of the week for your age group will be determined after sign-ups
Training/Game Dates:
Dates (one training day/week + one play date/week): Dec 14-Feb 6 (excluding the weeks of Dec 21-Jan 2)
Rain out dates: Feb. 8-20
The WCSC Winter Academy Director is Damian Scott who has been coaching Division 1 teams in Walnut Creek for several years and holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Damian has consistently developed players abilities while fostering the fun, passionate side of soccer. He will be assisted by professional trainers.

When heading out to the soccer fields, please remember that dogs are not allowed on or near any of the soccer fields!
This prohibition includes any grass areas around the fields! Dogs may be walked on leash on the paved paths around the park, but must be kept off the grass!

The 2009 WCSC U10 Academy is now accepting signups. The academy starts on September 16 and is available for all kids 8, 9, and 10 years old. Training will be once a week and run until October 28.
The WCSC Academy is run by Gino Pucillo, who will be assisted by other coaches and players in the club. Gino has been a competitive coach in Walnut Creek for six years and has many years of experience working with young kids. He currently works as the U9/10 Training Coordinator.

When: Wednesdays from 4:00-5:15 at Heather Farms field 2. You can sign up for either 5 or 7 weeks. If you sign up for the 5 week option you can pick your dates.
