The WCSC U12 Girls Blast Team took Second Place this past weekend at the Redding December Classic.
The Blast won 3 of their 4 games all by Shutout and only conceded 1 goal to the eventual Champions; Redding Adrenaline.
Saturday the Blast started strong with a tough 1 - 0 Victory over the Anderson United Girls and then gave up their only goal of the weekend in a tough 1-0 loss to the Redding Adrenaline. Great team defense was the key to the Redding game as it was a very cold and rainy night game played under the lights.
Sunday brought two more Shutout wins against the Redding Fusion and the Middletown Steam both 2 - 0 victories.
A great way to end the Soccer Season strong and building upon last weekends appearance in the Nor Cal State Cup Semi Finals.
