2009 Coach Licensing Courses

The Walnut Creek Soccer Club is pleased to sponsor the following CYSA License Courses:

License	Date(s)	Description
F License	May 15-16 or (June 26-27 course is full) or July 24-25 or Aug 14-15	For previously unlicensed coaches, a 9-hour certification course usually a Friday evening and all day Saturday, providing practice session/basic techniques.
E License	June 19-21 or July 17-19	For all coaches who hold an 'F' license for at least one year, an 18 hour course usually a Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday that provides basic tactics and intermediate techniques.
E/D License	July 10-12 AND July 18-19	For all coaches who hold an 'E' license for at least one year, a 32 hour course, usually two weekends, Saturday and Sundays. This is a 3-hour classroom and 26 hours field course.

To Register for a licensing class:

1) Download the correct License application

2) Fill out application

3) Make check payment (which is reimburseable after completing the class and signing up to coach for WCSC) payable to WCSC.

The cost of the “F” license is $45; “E” license is $55, "E/D" license is $115.

4) Submit copy of F License if enrolling in E License Course or copy of E License if enrolling in E/D License Course.

5) Mail application & check and copy of prior License:

Mail Check payable to WCSC and application and copy of prior License if applicable to: WCSC P.O. Box 3057, Walnut Creek, CA 94598.

To Be Reimbursed after the class:

1) Upon completion of the course your fee will be reimbursed as long as you are coaching for WCSC.

Field training: May 16; Arbolado Park, 3341 Arbolado Dr. Walnut Creek.
Field training time: 8:30 am
June 26-27 - this course is full and closed.
Classroom: Friday, June 26; 6:30 to 10:00pm, Location Civic Park Community Center, 1375 Civic Dr. Walnut Creek.
Field training: June 27; Arbolado Park, 3341 Arbolado Dr. Walnut Creek

July 24-25
Classroom: Friday, July 24; 6:30 to 9:30pm, Location Civic Park Community Center, 1375 Civic Dr. Walnut Creek.
Field training: Saturday, July 25; Tice Valley Park, 2055 Tice Valley Blvd, Walnut Creek
Field training time: 8:00am
August 14-15
Classroom: Friday, August 14; 6:30 to 9:30pm, Location Civic Park Community Center, 1375 Civic Dr. Walnut Creek.
Field training: Saturday, August 15; Tice Valley Park, 2055 Tice Valley Blvd, Walnut Creek

E License Certification Course (two)
June 19-21
Classroom: Friday, June 19; 6:30 to 10:00pm, Location: Civic Park Community Center, 1375 Civic Dr. Walnut Creek.
Field training: Saturday-Sunday, June 20 & 21; Arbolado Park, 3341 Arbolado Dr. Walnut Creek
Field training time (both days): 9:00 am start time
July 17-19
Classroom: Friday, July 17; 6:30 to 10:00 pm., Location: Civic Park Community Center, 1375 Civic Dr. Walnut Creek.
