The Walnut Creek Soccer Club is very proud of the hard work, years of commitment of the players and families to graduating to the College level. This has been a long road for most, learning soccer skills, competing, traveling, but more importantly to the commitment to learning life lessons which being part of a team can teach. We are proud of the commitment our graduates are making to receiving an education after high school and their achievements to date. This list of players and hopefully more to come, shows the personal and family commitment that has been made and the continued success of the The Walnut Creek Soccer community.
We congratulate you all, and wish you all the best as you move on to the next step.

U.S. U-20 WOMEN DOWN SURINAM, 4-0, TO TAKE GROUP B LEAD IN CONCACAF QUALIFYING
Valerie Henderson stretches
for one of her five saves
vs. Jamaica.
CORDOBA, Mexico
(January 21, 2006) –
The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team got two goals from forward Amy Rodriguez sandwiched around single scores from midfielders Allie Long and Amanda Poach to earn a 4-0 victory over Surinam at the 2006 CONCACAF Women’s U20
Final Round Qualification Tournament.
The USA now needs a win or a tie in its last Group B match against El Salvador on January 23 to secure the group title. It will be the first-ever match for a U.S. women’s team against El Salvador at any level. The U.S. team is all but mathematically clinched a spot in the next round, as the young Americans would need to lose by a large margin to El Salvador to miss the all-important semifinals.
